journey with Jesus—Together.

Life can be loud and overwhelming, especially for the next generation trying to make sense of who they are, where they belong, and what they’re here for. In a world that’s pulling us in a thousand different directions, it’s easy to feel confused, disconnected, and unsure if your life really matters.

At Vineyard Monroe, we believe no one should have to walk through life feeling unseen or without purpose. You were created for more — to live with clarity, connection, and the kind of faith that actually makes a difference. We’re a new church in Monroe, Ohio, built for the next generation. Whether you’re a student or young adult searching for something real, a young family longing to raise your kids with meaning, or an older adult who believes in our young people, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

We know what it’s like to carry the ache of loneliness and the questions about identity, purpose, and belonging. We’ve been there too. That’s why we started Vineyard Monroe—a community for people like us. People looking for faith that’s honest, grounded, and that works in everyday life. Led by Brandon and Christina Lute, longtime Monroe residents with over a decade of ministry leadership, we’re building a church where people can encounter God, find real community, and live with purpose. Our mission is simple: Encounter God and do something about it. At Vineyard Monroe, you’ll experience:

Real Encounter: God can be experienced and known. Each Sunday, we gather to connect with Jesus through worship and practical Bible teaching.

Real Community: We were created to be known and loved. By cultivating authentic relationships, we build a place where everyone belongs.

Real Faith: God is at work in our lives and in our city. Together, we cultivate a faith that’s honest, grounded, and built for everyday life.

Imagine living with confidence in who you are, surrounded by people who know you and love you, and growing in a faith that impacts your everyday life. That’s what we’re building. Vineyard Monroe is a church where the next generation is equipped and empowered to live the life they were created for. Without real connection and purpose, it’s easy to stay confused, isolated, and wondering if your life will ever really matter. You don’t have to live this way. You were made for more. And we’d love to walk with you as you discover it.

OUr VAlues: Guiding Us on Our Journey with Jesus.

God is inviting us into a lifelong journey of transformation—a journey where we are changed from the inside out, and where our families, communities, systems, and even all of creation are made new through the presence of Jesus.

At Vineyard Monroe Church, these values help keep us focused on the path God has placed in front of us. They’re not just ideas we talk about. They shape how we live, lead, and follow. They remind us who we are, where we’re going, and who we’re walking with. They make the journey intentional. And they matter, because we believe Jesus is alive and following Him should change everything. By God’s grace we aim to be:

JESUS PEOPLE

At the center of it all, we want Jesus to shine. We follow Him, become like Him, and do what He does. This journey isn’t about rules, self-help, or chasing what’s popular. It’s about walking, by faith, with the One who created us and loves us. Jesus is not only our Savior and God. He’s also our guide, our friend, and our constant companion along the way.

Word & Spirit PEOPLE

The Bible, God’s Word, is like a map in our hands showing us where the cliffs are, where the water flows, and how to stay focused on Jesus. We teach it, study it, and trust the story it’s telling. The Holy Spirit is the wind at our back. He moves us forward with holy gusts we didn’t see coming, and breathes life into places we thought were dead. Together, the Word and the Spirit make this journey real—grounded in truth and filled with power.

Diverse Community

We don’t walk alone. Life with God is meant to be shared, so we journey together. While we don’t all carry the same load or move at the same pace, we are moving in the same direction. We learn from each other’s rhythms, stories, and songs. We aim to reflect the diversity of Monroe—ethnically, culturally, generationally, and economically—because God’s family is beautifully diverse, and we believe we see more of God when we see through each other’s eyes. We aim to be a united community, bringing people together across differences to reflect the love and truth of Jesus.

Outward-focused Disciple-Makers

Simply put, a disciple is a follower. Following Jesus isn’t just about our own growth. It’s about partnering with Him to bring transformation to the world around us. As we walk, we keep our eyes up and our hands open. We serve, we share, and we invite others to join the journey, especially those pushed to the margins of society. We’re not just disciples. We’re disciple-makers—everyday people helping others follow Jesus, too.
